Mileage taken from a Fiero with stock size tires, but they are approximate. 

1. Beginning from the Comfort Inn, reset your trip odometer to Zero.
2. Mile Zero--Turn right onto Ga. 400.
3. Mile 3.1--Turn left onto Ga. Hwy 136.
4. Mile 18.8--Merge right into Hwy 183.
5. Mile 21.8--Turn left on Hwy 52 toward Ellijay.
6. Mile 39.5--Before the underpass, turn right onto Hwy 76. This is also Hwy 515.
7. Mile 59.2--Follow Hwy 76 to Hwy 60 and turn right toward Morganton.
8. Bear left around the stores in Morganton then turn right toward Dahlonega, following Hwy 60. We encountered State Police with Radar on this stretch of road before going up the mountain, during the Summer Cruise.
9. Mile 89.6--At the top of the mountain, there is parking on either side and restrooms.
10. Mile 94.9--Leaving the rest area, continue on Hwy 60, down the mountain. At the bottom, we will intersect Hwy. US19.
11. Mile 100--Turn left on US 19 at the stop sign.
12. Mile 101--Rest stop on the right—See the White Bat.
13. Mile 115--Gas stop at 115 miles.
14. Mile 120--Turn right on the US 76 Bypass and intersect US 76. Turn right on US 76.
15. Gasoline at 127 Miles.
16. Mile 132--Overlook after passing through Young Harris, on the right as you climb the long hill.
17. Mile 140--Pass through Hiawassee and turn right on Hwy 17 toward Helen & Cleveland.
18. Mile 146--Turn right on Hwy. 180 toward Brasstown Bald.
19. Mile 158--Turn left on Hwy 348.
20. Mile 165--There are 3 successive overlooks. The second is better.
21. Mile 172--Turn left on Hwy 75 Alt. toward Helen.
22. Mile 174--Turn right at the stop sign at the end of the bridge on Hwy 75 toward Helen.
23. Lunch in Helen.
24. Leaving Helen, go South on Hwy 75 toward Cleveland .
25. Turn left at the stop light onto Hwy 129 and 11.
26. In downtown Cleveland , take Hwy 115. It's the first right off the square.
27. Follow Hwy 115. Turn left at the traffic light and continue to follow Hwy 115.

You will intersect at the intersection of Hwy. 60 and 400. Continue straight onto Hwy 400 (the 4-Lane) back to the Motel.
